From our nationally recognized Playhouse Square Theater District to the energy of Progressive Field, FirstEnergy Stadium and Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland is full of excitement. Home of venues like like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the Cleveland Horseshoe Casino and unique dining experiences and nightlife in Downtown's East Fourth Street, the Warehouse District and the Flats, Cleveland has something for everyone.

Welcome to Akron! I hope you will enjoy your stay here, where you'll find fun, food, entertainment and excitement every week of the year.
Akron is home to major athletic events such as the Bridgestone World Golf Championship at Firestone Country Club, the venue for the Gay Games golf tournament; the FirstEnergy AllAmerican Soap Box Derby, and Ohio High School State championship tournaments in baseball and softball. The Akron Marathon, which is the venue for the Gay Games' marathon and half marathon, is considered one of America's Top 50 races, with 15,000 participants.
Downtown's outdoor stage at Lock 3 on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath, hosts dozens of free summer concerts and is adjacent to the historic Akron Civic Theater, where the Indigo Girls will be performing Thursday evening during Games Week. The University of Akron, which is the venue for the Gay Games' track and field events, is also located in central downtown Akron, along with the world-class Akron Art Museum.
